Uzo Aduba is a three-time Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated actress known for her work across television, film, and theatre. Recently, she starred in The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat and Greedy People, and wrapped filming The Residence, a Shondaland series for Netflix. She will also appear in Roofman alongside Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, due in 2025.
Aduba’s notable TV roles include In Treatment, for which she earned multiple Emmy nominations, and Mrs. America, where she portrayed Shirley Chisholm, winning her third Emmy. She is also known for her breakthrough role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on Orange Is the New Black, which earned her two Emmy Awards and multiple SAG Awards.
In theatre, Aduba starred in Clyde’s on Broadway, earning a Tony nomination, and made her West End debut in The Maids. She also recently launched Meynon Media, a production company with a multi-year deal at CBS Studios. Her film credits include Painkiller, Lightyear, National Champions, and American Pastoral. Aduba is also developing a slate of series and films through Meynon Media, including All Her Little Secrets for Showtime
