At the Impact + Profit Conference on December 5th and 6th, 2024, learn how you can implement a “double bottom line” on your projects, meet producers and storytellers who specialize in impact and build powerful relationships that will take your ventures to another level of effectiveness, profitability and social benefit.

The conference will be held in Los Angeles Skirball Cultural Center and will be jointly hosted by the SIE Society and Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs.

SIE Society is the leading global alliance in Social Impact Entertainment. Its mission is to educate, connect and empower professionals in entertainment, non-profit and business to harness storytelling for greater social good and measurable impact.

A recognized world leader in social and behavior change communication and knowledge management programs, the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs is committed to evidence-based advocacy, strong partnerships and capacity strengthening to nurture a global network of health, development and communication champions who are ready to respond to evolving challenges in their countries and communities.

CCP manages more than 60 projects that reach millions of people in more than 45 countries. CCP is based at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore.

2701 N Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049

Transport

The Skirball Cultural Center is located in the Sepulveda Pass just off the 405 Freeway, 2.5 miles south of the 101 Freeway. Traveling north or south on the 405, take the Skirball Ctr Dr exit and make a right onto Sepulveda Blvd.

For rideshare and taxi drop-off—From Sepulveda Blvd, the driver should turn into the Skirball campus on the north side, at Herscher Way, proceed down the driveway approximately 150 yards, and drop you off by the front steps at our Main Entrance. For the safety of you and others, please make sure your driver does not drop you off on Sepulveda Blvd.

Parking

During normal business hours, visitor parking is FREE at the Skirball. 

Parking is available in the Skirball’s North Parking garage, located underground at the north end of the Skirball’s main driveway, approximately 150 yards north of our Main Entrance. Parking is also available in the East Parking garage, located across Sepulveda Blvd.

Hotel Angeleno – West LA

Down the 405 freeway from LAX, 4 miles from Skirball, Hotel Angeleno offers unparalleled views of Los Angeles with fantastic service, comfortable accommodations and a range of amenities from a workout gym, pool, and rooftop bar.

Conference attendees can benefit from discounted rates when mentioning the Impact+Profit event, that also includes Uber credit to get to and from the conference.

Courtyard by Marriott – Sherman Oaks

A little further from LAX, and 3.4 miles from Skirball, this hotel is located in the San Fernando Valley. Amenities include a fitness center, flat-screen TVs, and marble bathrooms. A refrigerator and coffee facilities are also available for guests.

A discount for conference bookings made 30 days prior to arrival is available through this link. Unlike Hotel Angeleno, no Uber credit is provided. For those booking with government rates, book directly at Marriott.com and select “Government rate.” Please note, at checkin staff will ask for proof of government employment, with valid travel orders proving official business.
