Ryan Mitchell (they/he) is a senior consultant for GLAAD’s Entertainment and Communities of Color team, where they champion intersectional queer and trans storytelling across entertainment, sports, and culture. They are also a dynamic host, journalist, and culture critic known for their sharp insight and thoughtful commentary. Ryan is the creator, executive producer, and co-host of HIGHKEY!, a culture podcast from iHeartRadio, and has built a strong presence across both broadcast and digital platforms. Their previous on-air work includes hosting Logo Live with Ryan Mitchell, contributing to NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour, and serving as a correspondent for MTV. They also co-hosted Let’s Go There on Channel Q. Ryan serves as the NFL’s first LGBTQ+ brand ambassador, using their platform to advocate for more inclusive storytelling across all areas of media.
