Paul Scanlan is an Emmy Award–winning cofounder and CEO of Legion M, the world’s first fan-owned entertainment company, uniting fans and creators to shape the future of film and television. With a focus on producing original, breakthrough content, Paul and the Legion M team are redefining how audiences engage with Hollywood.

Before Legion M, Paul cofounded MobiTV, the trailblazing streaming service that earned an Emmy Award and transformed how people consume entertainment. In 2016, he launched Legion M, completing multiple record-breaking rounds of fan-based financing and producing a wide range of acclaimed films, including MANDY, COLOSSAL, and ARCHENEMY.

Recent Legion M projects include MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE (95% Rotten Tomatoes, SXSW Audience Award, Variety’s Top 10 Films of 2025), WILLIAM SHATNER: YOU CAN CALL ME BILL (84% Rotten Tomatoes, 94% Audience Score), and THE MAN IN THE WHITE VAN, a tense true-crime thriller set in 1970s Florida. Paul also serves as p.g.a. Producer on MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE and FADE TO BLACK, a darkly comic psychological thriller currently in post-production.

Beyond Legion M, Paul is a lifelong entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, as well as an avid hockey player and amateur winemaker. He also teaches at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Pritzker Law School, sharing his expertise on innovation, leadership, and culture.
