With a nearly 40-year career, Myles Connolly has made his mark as a producer, writer, director, and film editor. His diverse experience covers television, feature documentaries, and IMAX films, contributing to renowned projects like Blue Whales: Return of the Giants, America The Beautiful, Samsara, Everest, The Living Sea, Flight of the Butterflies, Oceans: Our Blue Planet, Earth: One Amazing Day, Amazon Adventure, The Elephant Queen, Antarctica and many more.

A gifted storyteller, Myles is celebrated for his screenwriting and producing achievements. His broad base of knowledge and filmmaking experience allow him to develop story ideas and concepts into tangible and achievable production strategies that result in quality content and films that make a difference. His expertise in film and digital camera technology, alongside decades of work in editorial have significantly shaped many of the IMAX industry’s post-production practices.

In the realm of stereoscopic 3D for IMAX screens, Myles leads the industry in 3D conversion with multiple awards for films that he’s been a part of. He is also a champion of fully immersive spatial audio and visual experiences.

Working alongside colleagues and creative partners at prestigious studios like the BBC, Disney, IMAX Corp, National Geographic and more, his projects have earned multiple awards including the Cine Golden Eagle, a number of Lumiere Awards for 3D, Best Picture wins at various festivals and two Academy Award nominations.

A member of the Producers Guild of America, Myles resides in Ojai, California, with his wife, Jeanette.
