As President and CEO, Di Nonno leads the Institute’s strategic direction, research, financial, and program initiatives. GDI’s mission is to reinvent, transform and inspire how global content creators and media tell stories through authentic portrayals of the population in entertainment. This year, Di Nonno was honored with the Lilly Ledbetter Lifetime Achievement award from ADWEEK. In 2022, the Institute was awarded the prestigious Governor’s Award Emmy from the TV Academy for its profound, transformational and long-lasting contribution to the arts and science of television. Di Nonno is an Executive Producer on the Emmy nominated, television series Mission Unstoppable on CBS and the award-winning feature film This Changes Everything. Previously, Di Nonno served in Executive leadership positions including: Hallmark Channel, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Starz/Anchor Bay and Nielsen Entertainment. Di Nonno is a sought-after keynote speaker and has been featured in Ad Age, Fast Company, Good Morning America, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Vanity Fair and Variety. Di Nonno is a proud alumni of Boston University. DI Nonno is on the Board of Directors for the Venice Chamber of Commerce and former Chair of the TV Academy Foundation’s Board of Directors and formerly serves as a mentor for the TV Academy’s Television’s TV Executives Peer Circle.
