PG&E Stories, Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
Joshua Reiman leads social impact storytelling at PG&E, one of the largest energy companies in the country with over 16 million customers. In 2023, Josh and his team launched PG&E Stories, an online social impact hub linking its films to community resources and calls-to-action tied to their mission of serving people, the planet, and California’s prosperity. In 2024, they launched a production partnership with BAVC Media to increase content output and diversify the pipeline of talent supporting their story work. PG&E’s films have won Webby, Telly, and Anthem Awards, and featured at film festivals, conferences, and community events across California.
Previously, Josh worked in international development, teaching English in Spain, building a corporate social responsibility program in India, consulting on higher education expansion in Ethiopia and Pakistan, and overseeing media production in Afghanistan and Yemen. In 2015, Reiman built a strategic partnerships team at SFFILM, growing the portfolio four-fold, while supporting 500+ emerging filmmakers through partnerships with film industry and technology leaders, including Adobe, Apple, CNN, Dolby, Google, HBO, Netflix, New York Times, Samsung, and WarnerMedia.
Josh believes new business and partnership models are necessary to truly create greater equity and access in the content and production world. He welcomes conversations on how to change the system for the better for emerging artists.
