President & CEO, Partnership With Native Americans
Joshua Arce joined Partnership With Native Americans (PWNA) as president & CEO in 2020, after serving on their Board of Directors. PWNA is one of the largest Native American-led nonprofits in the U.S., with a focus on Native equity, representation, and capacity-building for nearly 35 years.
A citizen of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation of Kansas, Josh has more than 20 years of experience in business development, education management, and social work. As a Native American thought leader, he serves as speaker, moderator, blogger, and media spokesperson on Native equity, representation, food security, emergency response, and education.
A Haskell Indian Nations University Alumni and their former Chief Information Officer, Josh is also a Trustee for Native Health. He holds a B.A. in social work from the University of Kansas and a J.D. specializing in tribal law, applied Indigenous leadership, federal Indian law, and Indian gaming law.
Sincere and forward-looking, Josh actively supports the advancement of Tribal communities. He tackles the tough conversations and is committed to helping organizations and individuals become more NativeAware™ and engaged as change agents.
