John Lin is the Director of Development at Closer Media. Before joining Closer, he spent five years at Concordia Studio where he worked on narrative films including Cathy Yan’s THE GALLERIST (in post-production), Jayro Bustamante’s RITA (Shudder), and Ben Cleary’s SWAN SONG (Apple TV). He also worked on two Davis Guggenheim-directed documentaries: the Emmy-winning STILL: A MICHAEL J. FOX MOVIE (Apple TV) and DEAF PRESIDENT NOW! (Apple TV+).

John has also held positions at Participant and OddLot Entertainment. He began his career in the entertainment industry as an intern for legendary producer Robert Evans.
