Founder, The Nation of Artists
Elliot is a five-time SxSW and five-time Cannes Lions winner and recipient of Emmys, Clios, Anthems and Webbys, as well as the Creative Impact Award from SIMA. He’s spoken on purposeful content, technology for humanity, and impactful media, at Nexus at the United Nations, South By Southwest, MakerFaire, the US Chamber of Commerce and Social Innovation Summit, and his work has shown at hundreds of film festivals and been archived at MoMA.
As the former editor-in-chief of Beyond Cinema and Moving Pictures magazines, and a contributor to ABC Radio, The Hollywood Reporter, MovieMaker, Filmmaker, The Los Angeles Times’ magazine, GQ and Details’ Style.com, Elliot interviewed everyone from Elon Musk to Elmo and hosted events such as the SxSW Innovation Awards, the Oscars on Reelzchannel, and the Spirit Awards red carpet on IFC.
Named an Australian Global Gamechanger in 2023 for his creative contributions, Elliot has produced four documentaries that have qualified for the Oscars race, and garnered further acclaim for directing content and campaign work for dozens of impact-driven brands and organizations through his company, The Nation of Artists. His innovative collaborations created the first ever user-generated feature film, the world’s first 3D-printing prosthetics facility, and the launch of a social robot for kids going through chemotherapy (a TIME magazine “Inventions of the Year”).
Elliot is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a proud member of the IDA, Film Independent, the PGA and the Television Academy, a Monash University’s Alumni of the Year, and recipient of the Kellogg School of Management’s Kellogg Innovation Network Fellowship.
