David Jammy is a South African born film and television producer. He has produced content covering interests and issues from all over the globe, and in virtually every genre. A former lawyer and anti-apartheid activist, David co-founded the South African production house, Quizzical Pictures (formerly Curious Pictures), which has produced thousands of hours of award winning television and is widely recognized as one of the country’s premier production houses.

During his 15 years at Quizzical, with the country going through its historic transition to democracy, much of David’s work dealt with social issues, health, politics and education. During that time David pioneered some of the award winning best practice edutainment formats including Soul City, Tsha Tsha and Heartlines and Quizzical has gone on to produce Intersexions and MTV Suga (Down South) amongst many others.

Jammy joined Done+Dusted in 2012 and is currently a partner in the company. At Done+Dusted, amongst his numerous Executive Producer credits, he has produced the Emmys; Stand Up To Cancer; the Kennedy Center Honors, the Global Citizen Festival and the Mark Twain Prize. He has also produced a number of high profile television events with the Emerson Collective’s XQ, including Super School Live and Graduate Together.
