Aziz Deldar is a multidisciplinary filmmaker, screenwriter, director of photography (DOP), editor, and director. With over 15 years of teaching experience at Kabul University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, he has trained a generation of filmmakers in cinema, scriptwriting, and visual storytelling. His academic background, combined with extensive professional experience, has enabled him to create award-winning film scripts and direct socially impactful television series and documentaries that highlight the challenges faced by vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. His work has received international recognition, establishing him as one of the leading screenwriters and filmmakers of his generation.

Following the Taliban’s recent takeover of Afghanistan, Aziz resettled in the United States, continuing his dedication to telling meaningful stories about social issues, human experiences, and cultural identity, while expanding his professional achievements.
