It aims to raise awareness of Native-led storytelling, highlight recent portrayals of Native American culture, and discuss the impact of social media and activism on narrative change. The discussion will also explore opportunities for Native Americans in the entertainment sector and how diverse storytelling can enhance the industry, with a dedicated Q&A session to engage the audience.
Panelists include **Sarah Eagle Heart** (Oglala Lakota), a two-time Emmy award-winning social justice storyteller and media strategist whose work is rooted in her Indigenous worldview; **Sean Sherman** (Oglala Lakota Sioux), a celebrated chef and advocate for Indigenous cuisine, founder of The Sioux Chef and the Indigenous Food Lab; and **Joshua Arce**, a seasoned speaker and advocate for social impact, who has extensive experience in education and diversity leadership.
