Panel

Speakers

The Latinx TV Shows panel will feature multiple creators and executives who create and track the impact of Latinx content. Ben Dejesus is the Director of “Leguizamo Does America”, an unscripted Latinx travel show where John Leguizamo travels the US to discover Latinx history, culture, food, and politics across the country. Carlos Portugal, Co-Creator and Writer of “East Los High”, a TV show who successfully promoted healthy sexual and reproductive health of young Latinx Americans. Monica Trujillo-Jamison, Partner Insights Director at Parrot Analytics, the leading global audience demand analytics company – even in the opaque world of streaming – and a trusted partner to some of the biggest media companies and content creators in the world. And Missie Thurston, VP of Marketing & Communications at the Population Media Center, the organization that originally created East Los High before it became – at its time – the most successful Latinx show in Hulu history.

Join us for a compelling conversation on how these creators have created impact and profit through telling stories close to home and stories that represent the Latinx community, a community that continues to be forgotten about in Hollywood – and by that, presents tremendous market opportunity.

Further programming details to be announced leading up to the conference.
